VPS FAQ
A single, off-site snapshot backup is included free on our Gaming VPS plans. You are able to schedule this snapshot to occur automatically on a daily or weekly basis. Or you may take a snapshot backup manually.
Our General VPS plans have an additional fee to include off-site backup service.
Customers may request a refund within 7 days of the initial order date. Provided you have not violated our Terms of Service, we are happy to provide a refund.
A processor has a limited number of logical cpu cores. Customers on our Gaming VPS plans receive one dedicated CPU core for each vCPU (virtual CPU) in their VPS plan. This provides significantly faster processing power which is critical for real time applications like Game Servers
Customers who use our General VPS plans are sharing logical processors with other customers. The CPU performance is less consistent compared to having a dedicated core, but still suitable for most web applications.
We encourage our users to purchase a Gaming VPS if they intend on running one or multiple game servers.
Game servers that are less CPU intensive may perform well on our general plans but we do not support this.
EVLBOX uses Virtfusion to provide a fast and intuitive interface to your VPS. Virtfusion includes SSH key management, VNC console access, snapshot backup scheduling and much more!
